TIL: PubSubHubbub (now WebSub)

Today I learned about PubSubHubbub, “an open protocol for distributed publish/subcribe communication on the internet” that was developed by . It has been adopted by the World Wide Web Consortium (w3c), and is now called WebSub. I have referenced a good document by Microsoft explaining the publisher-subscriber pattern.
